ORIGINALE Collection

Luscious little pieces of art for the home... Zietta Clara door and cabinet glass hardware is created by the human hand, designed for the human hand. It is in the hand where they belong. Sensual and cold to the touch, they transform interior design into a tactile experience.

These are solid pieces of blown glass sculpted as functional art for the door. An etching that reads Zietta Clara can be found on the back of each unique piece of glass, insuring artful authentication. Because these glass pieces are one of a kind and hand sculpted art, each piece will vary slightly in color pattern, shape and size, one from another.

Zietta Clara is comprised of four collections. ORIGINALE premiered first in 2005 and has been referred to as "visually arresting." The door knobs described as "jewels for the door," are formed in non-traditional shapes and jewel tones. Appealing to the touch, these doorknobs, cabinet and drawer pulls are offered standard in a warm and classic color pallet but can also be specified in a custom color.

ICE and PEBBLE collections were born in 2008 and are offered in a cool color palette. In ICE, thirteen designs erupt, including the popular Soap Bar design available in six artistic versions. A variety of organic shaped cubes, sandblasting and fancy bevels make this line uniquely different from its predecessor.

PEBBLE has five strong geometric designs that explore visual texture combined with the tactile smoothness for which Zietta Clara has become known. This modern style collection is produced with an entirely different hot form of glass sculpting and is flat and linear in nature. The emergence of the PEBBLE collection brings with it the frequently requested drawer pull, especially for those contemporary kitchens

Since the launch of Zietta Clara in 2005, architects and interior designers have been asking for Zietta Clara to design clear levers. They are finally here!

The LUSCIOUS LEVERS collection consists of only two but mighty designs. While both are produced in the hot shop on a pipe, one is fully organic with very little cold work, while the other has clean linear lines, and is ground, beveled, and polished. In the event that commercial or hospitality projects want to use them and in order to be ADA compliant, they are both designed with the  1 1/2“ projection in mind and one with 90º tail. The clear glass offers magnification our custom sleeve’s knurled ferrel that is now revealed in this design for the first time, creating an industrial look juxtaposed against the elegance of the glass.

All four collections are offered as doorknobs and in cabinet/drawer pull sizes too. Modification and customization are available as well. Many of the colors are available in the designs belonging to a different collection, and can be custom ordered. Many clients order a design in a custom size that works for their project.
